The climate is technically classified as hot desert, defined by its extreme diurnal temperature variations rather than typical seasonal structures. Summer days frequently exceed 40 degrees Celsius with intense solar radiation and minimal humidity. In contrast, winter nights routinely drop below freezing, producing heavy morning frosts. This volatility dictates architectural designs, energy consumption patterns, and the scheduling of civic and sporting events.
